Grouplove might as well be Grouplive, in my humble opinion. I absolutely love their records, but their live show is where it's at. Lead singer Hannah Hooper is electric on stage and positively mesmerizing, and musically, the band is tighter than it has ever been.
Grouplove's new record "Big Mess," is due out this fall. If the two singles are any indication, they're going on an even dreamier rock and roll journey this time around.
Prophets of Rage
Prophets of Rage is the ultimate supergroup for 90s kids. A combination of Rage Against the Machine, Cypress Hill and Public Enemy, you can't go wrong when your guitarist is Tom Morello.
This isn't the show you take your mother to, but it is the show you can mosh pit and talk politics at. How often can you say that? Catch them on their hot summer tour.
