Artists Combine to Make Beautiful Wine

June 11, 2016 by Holly Perry in Music, Art

On Tuesday, June 14th at 8 pm EST/5 pm PST, there is only one place to be, and it's a very easy place to get to: in front of your computer. Why? Because three phenomenal artists have come together to create some of the best wine I've ever had, and they are doing a "virtual tasting" live stream.

When I spoke with fine artist Felipe Molina, esteemed winemaker John Wright and Counting Crows' Adam Duritz last year about the project, their passion was contagious. No detail was spared, from the beautiful artwork to the hand signed bottles.

One sip of the wine and it's clear that the collaboration has paid off. The wines- Wild Mouse 2012 Rhone Blend and Sky Rocket 2012 Syrah- are equally spectacular and have each earned an impressive 92 points.

I asked Felipe what people could expect during the virtual tasting on Tuesday. "This is a chance to enjoy an hour of casual conversation with Adam, John and me, discussing the details of wine making, music making, and art making."

Count me in.
