Felipe Molina is taking you "Down the Rabbit Hole" this Friday, Sept. 9, when his new paperworks exhibit opens at Standing Sun Wines in Buellton, California. Felipe, a fine artist that has made his name internationally with musicians and actors alike rushing to collect his pieces, has curated yet another exhibit that is slated to be a smash success.
Californians get the rare opportunity to see this East Coast artist's work up close and even better, hear the stories from the artist himself during the artist reception from 5-8pm. While Felipe's work is truly masterful and stunning to see in person, you'll want to meet the man behind the art. When Felipe speaks about his artwork, it's as if hearing someone describe their greatest love. His passion is contagious and inspiring.
Felipe has had a long-standing relationship with Standing Sun winemaker John Wright, even previously collaborating on a wine art music project (W.A.M.) with mutual friend Adam Duritz of the Counting Crows. It's no surprise the three diverse artists created wine that was hailed by critics, even garnering a 92 points rating from Wine Enthusiast for both the Sky Rocket/Guitar Road Syrah and Wild Mouse/Cowboys Rhone Blend.
Following the artist reception, Counting Crows' tour mate K. Phillips & the Concho Pearls will take the Standing Suns Live! Stage to complete the evening with some great tunes. The artist reception is free and tickets for K. Phillips can be purchased online $12 GA/$17 Reserved Seating.
